About the Awards

The ARISE Excellence Awards, launched in 2022, were established to recognize schools that have made significant contributions to education and community service, with a strong emphasis on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The inaugural edition honored schools across four categories—Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities, Climate Action, and Life on Land—highlighting their commitment to holistic and impactful education.

In 2023, the awards expanded to encompass a broader range of educational excellence, introducing categories such as Excellence in Promoting Entrepreneurship, Excellence in Experiential Learning, Excellence in Community Service, Outstanding Teacher Development, Excellence in Digital Transformation, and Excellence in Sports. This expansion reflected the evolving priorities of education and the need for schools to cultivate future-ready learners.

As we launch the 2025 edition, the ARISE Excellence Awards, organized in collaboration with FICCI, continue to celebrate schools that are setting benchmarks in innovation, holistic learning, and educational transformation. This year, the awards introduce new categories recognizing excellence in future-ready skills, creative expressions, global impact leadership, and the revival of India’s knowledge systems. Additionally, the awards acknowledge schools making meaningful contributions toward Sustainable Development Goals, including Good Health & Well-being (SDG 3), Clean Water & Sanitation (SDG 6), and Climate Action (SDG 13).

By recognizing top performers and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and development, the ARISE Excellence Awards act as a vital catalyst for excellence and innovation in India’s school education landscape.
