What are ARISE Excellence Awards 2025?
ARISE in collaboration with FICCI has launched ARISE Excellence Awards 2025 to recognize the outstanding contributions of schools in shaping future-ready students and fostering excellence.
What are the Award Categories and Definitions?

This initiative aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical practices of educators, empowering them to provide high-quality education and create a positive impact on student learning outcomes. |
2 | Excellence in Digital Transformation and Compliance | To recognise schools that are using digital technology to provide accessible, personalized, and engaging education, by leveraging advanced systems, collaboration tools, and data analytics to enhance learning outcomes and create immersive classroom experiences while ensuring compliance with Indian laws, policies and regulatory landscape. |
3 | Excellence in Experiential Learning | To recognize schools that focus on experiential teaching practices to enhance learning experiences that result in better learning outcomes such as overall results, Life skills, or values, etc. through a seamless connect between theoretical learning and practical application. |
4 | Excellence in Future Ready Skills | To recognize schools that prioritize the development of essential future-ready skills with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, adaptability, effective communication, collaboration, empathy, self-awareness, creativity, emotional intelligence, decision-making, and other core life skills that prepare students for the demands of tomorrow. |
5 | Excellence in Global Impact Leadership | To recognize schools that are pioneering global best practices in education—either by adopting and localizing international innovations or by exporting successful Indian educational models globally. This award recognizes schools driving impactful student exchange programs, cross-border collaborations, and initiatives that place Indian education on the world stage. |
6 | Excellence in Reviving India’s Knowledge Systems | To recognize schools that integrate India’s rich knowledge heritage—drawing from Vedic learning, gurukul pedagogy, indigenous sciences, traditional arts, and grassroots innovations—into classroom teaching-learning. This category honors schools that successfully blend ancient wisdom with contemporary learning, empowering students with a deep-rooted yet globally relevant education. |
7 | Excellence in Sports | To recognize schools that have established a robust infrastructure that provides quality facilities with an experienced coaching staff & has contributed to notable performances and participation at interschool/state/national/international levels, along with scholarships and sports organization partnerships, alongside academic reputation. |
8 | Excellence in Visual and Performing Arts | To recognize schools that nurture exceptional talent in the arts, including visual arts and performing arts (music, dance, theatre, poetry, storytelling, photography, digital art etc). This award honours schools that foster creative expression while integrating innovation and cultural heritage into artistic education. |
9 | Excellence in executing Sustainable Development Goals – Private Schools – Public Schools | To recognize schools that have undertaken initiatives towards meeting the SDGs in order to raise the quality of learning outcomes and to effectively contribute towards society and environment as a whole Excellence in Promoting Health and Well-being – SDG 3: Good Health & Well Being – To recognize schools implementing comprehensive programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for students, teachers, and the broader community. Excellence in Sustainable Water Management and Sanitation – SDG 6: Clean Water & Sanitation – To recognize schools undertaking initiatives to ensure access to clean water and sanitation for all, aligned with sustainable development goals. Excellence in Climate Action – SDG 13: Climate Action – To recognize schools taking proactive measures to combat climate change, reduce environmental impact, and build resilience against climate-related challenges. |
Can I submit my application in any language?
Entries must be submitted in English only.
Can I select more than one category?
Yes, schools can apply for up to two categories, provided that a separate application form is submitted for each category. If more than two applications are submitted, only the first two valid entries will be considered, and the rest will be disqualified.
Who is eligible to participate in the Awards?
- Participating schools in the Awards should be an Indian entity with a registered presence in India and must provide their Certificate of Incorporation/Registration certificate/State board affiliation certificate mandatorily
- Individual Operators/Corporate entities cannot apply for the Awards
- Participating schools must be engaged primarily in providing educational services in India
- Organizations offering learning and training solutions are not eligible to participate.
- Participating school cannot participate at a group level. Each unit of the school must submit a separate application form for its respective initiatives
- Participating school must have been in operation for a minimum of 5 years as on March 31, 2025
- The initiative/project should be completely executed, fully implemented and in operation in the period April 01, 2023, to March 31, 2025 (or major part of the initiative should fall into the defined period), with impact demonstrated and results showcased by initiative/ project in the period April 01, 2024, to March 31, 2025
- The initiative should have been completely executed in India.
How do I enter for the Awards?
Apply by filling the registration form online at awards.ariseedu.in. Application links and login details will be emailed to applicants.
Can I submit multiple applications under the Awards?
- Schools can apply for the Awards by filling the registration form online at the website: awards.ariseedu.in
- Link to fill the application form will be emailed to the candidate along with the login details
- To apply for the Awards, schools are required to first review the terms and conditions, select the appropriate category, and submit the corresponding application form.
Is it mandatory to provide supporting documents?
- Yes, it is mandatory to provide supporting documents for the entry to substantiate the details provided in the application. We recommend you provide as much information as possible to support and strengthen your entry with relevant documents and attachments
- Supporting documents must be in the following formats only – pdf, doc, jpeg, etc. Size of each document cannot exceed 2 MB.
What happens to my application once it is submitted?
Your application form will first be reviewed for completeness, eligibility and adherence to the application guidelines, including character limit. Incomplete and ineligible applications will be declined without further review. Applications that meet eligibility criteria will be further considered for the jury rounds.
Is there an application fee associated with the Awards?
Yes, the application fee for the Awards have been mentioned below:
- Private School (Non – ARISE Member School): ₹2500 + 18% GST
- Private School (ARISE Member School): ₹1200 + 18% GST
- Government School: No fee applicable.
Can I make changes to my application after it has been submitted?
Once the application form is submitted you will not be allowed to make changes to your application. Hence, please review the information provided in the application form before submitting.
What is the deadline for submission of entries?
Last date for submission of completed application forms is June 25, 2025.
When is the announcement of results?
The results will be announced on the day of the award ceremony on September 12-13, 2025.
Will there be one winner for each Award category?
Yes, there can be one or more winners selected in each category based on the Jury’s decision.
How do we know if we are shortlisted and need to provide information?
The awards management team will contact you in case you are shortlisted.
